Q: What is your criteria for Participants?

A: ALL women, trans men, non-binary and genderqueer folks of all sizes, ethnicities, and abilities are welcome to submit their stories and participate in the workshop events. Newcomers are always welcome, no experience necessary.
*Note: Due to the variety of content (and colorful language) that we use in our themes, participant discretion is advised. Virtual events are open to ages 16 and up, but typically our in-person venues are 21 and over. We’ll be sure to note age restrictions when applicable.

Q: I’m not an experienced writer/performer - does FST offer any assistance or support?

A: Absolutely! Feel free to email storytelling@fstorytellers.com with any questions or if you’d like feedback on a story. Our workshops are safe spaces for sharing those stories you haven’t quite finished yet. We’re committed to fostering a supportive environment for storytellers of all levels of experience.

Q: I don’t know if I want to perform, but I’d like to be involved. What can I do?

A: Above all, FST is a community. Come to the events! Bring your friends! Share our pages/links!
